Overview:
You will turn our new prototype aerosol instrumentation into our next big products. With the prototyping legwork completed, you will design, improve, build, test, and plan our new instrumentation ready for final production.
Further, you will be responsible for improving our current product range, and providing solutions to our mechanical challenges.
Job Description:
- Mechanical engineering of new products [aerosol instrumentation]
- Computer Aided Design (CAD)
- Complete technical drawings with standard geometric dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T), based on CAD models
- Development of new products
- Opportunities to identify for assembly procedure improvements
- Identify and specify manufacturing processes
Useful Attributes:
- MSc or higher in a STEM field
- Project management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Any experience with aerosol equipment or methods beneficial but non-essential
- Computationally proficient (essential: CAD, Windows, Office packages, etc)
- Simulation of mechanical processes (e.g. fluid mechanics, thermodynamics) using commercially available software
- Excellent attention to detail and careful record keeping
- Electrical engineering experience
